Jen Smale // One of the most valuable assets we have in ministry is people. Ironically, some of the most frustrating aspects of ministry also involve people. Therefore, learning to recruit, train, steward and shepherd the people who volunteer on our teams is crucial, not only to our church mission, but to our Kingdom reflection. Building a strong volunteer culture strengthens the Body on both an individual and corporate level. Staff members help chart the course, but volunteers help power the vessel! So, let’s work together to understand their value, appreciate their value and cultivate their value.
